About Me

I am an ABD PhD candidate in the Philosophy Department at Syracuse University. I specialize in topics related to communication broadly construed. For example, my dissertation is on the role of natural language conventions and metapragmatics, and I have published on theories of biological communication and optimal voting strategies given that voting is a kind of signal.

I have independently taught Logic, Philosophy of Religion, Theories of Knowledge and Reality, Intro to Moral Theory, and Human Nature.

I have a dog that one time dressed up as Chewbacca.
